Before I share the “Crystal Ball” to YOUR SUCCESS below,
let me ask you a quick question that may help you
put the first of "6 Gold Nuggets" in proper perspective:
If you accepted a marriage proposal from Donald Trump or Oprah
Winfrey, and you were asked to sign a pre-nuptial agreement, would you
READ it?
You’d be a fool not to! Yet most people who jump into a home-based
or network marketing business with the dream of earning a six-figure plus
income, do it without reading or fully understanding the company
“Policies & Procedures” (P&P), even though they
click a box or sign a paper that says they read the company's "Pre-nuptial Agreement."
I know this happens frequently because I coach people every week who tell
me they did not read their company “P&P.” The consequences of
that blunder are:
If you marry the WRONG company, chances are good
you’ll wind up disappointed and unhappy, divorced with nothing to
show for it, or worse yet a “battered spouse.”
The “P&P” is your “pre-nuptial agreement” and can give
you great insights into important potential future BEHAVIOR of your
company.
Gold Nugget #1:
Read & Understand Your Company “P&P”
(Preferably BEFORE you join or "marry" the company!)
I know this is NOT a FUN assignment for most people. So some of you who read this will NOT do it. But doing it can pay HUGE REWARDS - or save you from future DISASTER!
I have one good friend in network
marketing who built an ongoing income stream of $44,000 - $46,000 per
month
a few years ago, only to see it disappear in an instant
before he could kick back and enjoy it.
Without warning or explanation, the company decided his income would look better in their pocket, and they terminated him without notice. He consulted an attorney,
but closer examination of the “P&P” he signed when he joined,
revealed a small clause in fine print that allowed them to legally
“terminate without cause.” Look out for that one!
The sad part is that company is still in business today still earning a fortune
from customers and business he was responsible for. And my
guess is they’ve done the same thing to others. The worst part is
this is not an isolated event. There are MANY MANY individual true horror stories in the industry similar to this one.
Some companies choose to build their business on the backs of
distributors - not in partnership with them. It’s a crying shame
that the highways of the home-business industry are littered with the
“road kill” carcasses that companies with no integrity leave behind.
Someone else I met just recently was “building big” in a well-known and
popular company until a month before I met her. In less than a year she built a
growing organization and a monthly income approaching 5-figures. A
large bonus check she was expecting did not arrive on time, so she tried
to log into her website only to discover it was shut down.
She eventually discovered the “excuse” the company used to terminate her
and rob her of her dreams. Her fiancé was in another company and
ONE TIME, to help him out, she did a training call for his team. A
greedy person in her upline recorded it and turned the recording in to
her company. The company terminated her without notice under a
clause in
the “P&P” that prevented her from working with any other
company.
Folks, now that’s stretching it! And guess who split the
commissions she was generating - the company and her greedy upline. BEWARE
of people and companies that lack INTEGRITY. They are way too common in the
home business industry.
Does it seem FAIR to you that if you are an "Independent Contractor"
a company should have total control over your actions and behaviors that
have no negative impact on
them? - or that they can prevent you from earning other
income, or unjustifiably rob you of income you have earned?
Yet that's the behavior many distributors CHOOSE to accept.
True stories like the two above are gut wrenching and painful learning experiences to go
through. But smart people learn from the mistakes of others.
Bad experiences like that can be prevented or avoided if you use my “Crystal Ball”
to gaze into the future potential behavior of your company and...
STUDY THEIR “P&P!”
You may be saying, “That could never happen to me!” or “My company would
never do that!” I hope you’re right. But it happens more
often than you might think, even in well-known and respected
companies. The best way to minimize the chances of it
happening TO YOU is to study your “P&P.” Only build YOUR business
with a company who treats its customers and distributors fairly and
honestly.
Study and understand your company’s “P&P” before you “marry”
it. If you find areas that concern you (and there are a few
keywords that are dead giveaways), make sure to ask about them.

Be aware that great salespeople and charismatic con artists always have an
answer for every objection. If they tell you, “That’s standard
contract language we’ll never use,” or if they won’t consider changing
it, start looking for a better HONEST business partner.
As Stephen Covey might say, “You don’t want to get to the top of the
ladder only to discover it’s leaning against the wrong
wall.”
This article is NOT a general indictment of the home-based business or
MLM industries. It’s a wake-up call for individual
distributors. There are some fine companies out there and a few
really great ones. But you may have to do a little research and
educate yourself to find or recognize them.
There are good people in the world and there are bad
people. There are good companies in the world and there are bad
ones. The type of company is determined primarily by the people who
lead it. Your life will be much better, prosperous, abundant, and
FUN, if you do your best to associate with good people and good
companies.
ALWAYS study the company “P&P” (pre-nuptial agreement) BEFORE you
commit to “marriage!”
Gold Nugget #2:
Look Out for GREED & EGO!
Would you agree that GREED and EGO are two of the single biggest ultimate
causes of failure - both individually and in business? You don’t
have to look far in the corporate world - at Enron and many others - to
see the devastation and destroyed lives these kinds of companies leave
behind.
Unfortunately but not surprisingly, the home-based business and network
marketing industries are not immune to invasion by those two evil twins.
I personally know of potentially great organizations that were destroyed
by them. Individuals
or companies infected with these contagious diseases will smile in your
face as they reach around and stab you in the back.
But people who profit by promoting the home-based business industry are
not anxious to share negative information. Thus some of the bad
things that go on
are not widely publicized or are swiftly swept under a rug.
Inexperienced good people who get involved sometimes naively assume
everyone else is “just like me.” Aren’t we all honest and sincerely
interested in helping others? That would be nice someday in a "perfect world".
Unfortunately it’s not reality yet today.
But, by being proactive and objective, doing a little research and using some
COMMON SENSE, you can minimize your chances of making bad choices or associating with the
wrong people. You can also maximize your potential for long lasting and
above average success by using this “Crystal Ball” and associating with the
right kind of people.
Gold Nugget #3:
Use a Simple System for an Objective Evaluation of ALL Important Criteria!
Most people fail to achieve their objectives because they don't
thoroughly analize ALL the factors involved BEFORE they jump
in with both feet. You may personally fall in love with a
company, person, product, concept, idea, or service.
But
there are FIVE IMPORTANT PARTS to the secret formula
for LIFELONG BUSINESS SUCCESS.
Did you ever know someone who fell in love with the wrong person?
Everyone else could see it but they were "too close to the forest to
see the trees." Love can be blind! Don't allow EMOTIONS
to cause you to make bad BUSINESS decisions.
I work with a Mastermind Group of leaders from several different
companies. Over the years we have studied HUNDREDS of
companies. We’ve come up with a simple but powerful evaluation
system called “5 Pillars to Success.” The higher a company scores
in each area, the more likely you will be to have long-term success. And,
like a chain with a weak link, a low score in just one area is a good
predictor of future major disappointment or failure.
Using a scale of 1-10 in each area, if a company you’re considering or
involved with scores a total of 46-50, and no less than 9 in any one
area, your opportunity to create “wealth to last a lifetime” is very
good. If the total score
is 45 or below, or less than 9 in one or more areas, your
chances decrease exponentially.
We do not publicly share or publish our opinions on any specific active
company, although we may occasionally mention a company that has gone out
of business as a good example of what NOT to do. We teach you how
to do your own evaluations and come to your own conclusions...

Use COMMON SENSE
and Understand the
"BIG PICTURE"
The company “P&P” manual will give you most of the information you
need for an accurate evaluation. But much of it can also be done
using good old-fashioned COMMON SENSE and some simple VISIONARY THINKING
to evaluate obvious major potential problems.
Are you fully aware that the world we live in is much different than it was 20
years ago - or even just a few years ago? I would hope most
successful business owners are aware of that simple FACT. But a quick
look around the home business industry suggests that many owners (and
distributors) are way out of touch with reality today, much less have any
clue or give any thought to what the future will likely bring.
Largely because of continuing rapid advancements in technology and the
Internet, our world and the way business is done continue to change at a
rapid pace. If you’re not using a forward thinking business model,
your chances for long-term success are slim to none.
All successful businesses of the FUTURE
realize they are in a PARTNERSHIP.
In conventional businesses that partnership is between the Company, the
Employees, and the Customers. Like a three-legged stool, it will
never stand the test of time if one “leg”
is not “equal.”
In network marketing those legs are similar to a conventional business,
but the “Employees” leg is replaced by “Independent
Distributors.” No matter which business model you choose, ALL
three partners must get good value from the relationship if it is to
THRIVE and survive LONG TERM.
Like it or not we live in a competitive world. Today, consumers
have more access than ever before to information about their purchase
decisions, even if they don’t always take full advantage of that
opportunity initially.
Any successful business owner will tell you that providing GOOD VALUE to
your customers, and building a RELATIONSHIP with them so they are more
likely to
purchase from you again or tell others about you, is the
most cost-effective and efficient way to grow any business.
Repeat purchases from satisfied customers are the lifeblood of any
business with a long-term mindset.
And it’s especially critical for LIFELONG SUCCESS in network
marketing! That's another Gold-Nugget
you can take to
the bank.
Now let’s use COMMON SENSE to apply that UNIVERSAL TRUTH to the MLM
business model:
The Simple Promise has always been: We can deliver a better product
at a lower cost because we cut out all the middle-men and reduce our
OVERHEAD further by using
no-cost “word-of-mouth” advertising instead of
increasingly expensive and less effective conventional methods like
television, radio, or print advertising.
That concept sounds great in THEORY. But does it happen in real
life? The only honest answer is - sometimes, but not always.
If YOUR company does not deliver on that promise... Top Quality, VALUE-PRICED, and Effective products -
YOU will never have exceptional long-term success.
That’s one primary reason many poorly designed network marketing
companies go through explosive growth for a time, only to “crash &
burn” sooner or later.
Why take that RISK if you don't have to?
Even many companies that “survive” seldom provide exceptional
opportunities for NEW distributors once they've been around for many years
or passed their "momentum" phase of growth. That’s an important point
to remember if you hope to have above-average success.
Timing is critically important!
If you want to MAXIMIZE your potential you don't want to join too soon, and you don't want to join too late.
Over-priced products drive "recruiting" BEHAVIOR because that's the only
way to get a "deal" on your products. When the only ones buying products
are the reps for the business opportunity, you're heading for
trouble. Repeat CUSTOMERS are important to EVERY thriving business.
If you have to focus on recruiting because you aren't RETAINING
enough reps or customers, you've got nothing more than a
time-consuming job! It will never create the early retirement or
passive, walk-away, recurring residual income that is one of the bedrocks of the
network marketing business model. It will eventually self-destruct
as hundreds or thousands already have.
Gold Nugget #5:
You’re Not an Elephant - Don’t
Settle For Peanuts!
Compensation plans are important! But, they can be a complicated
and confusing topic that most distributors do
NOT truly understand.
Below are...
THREE SIMPLE KEYSto understanding
really GREAT compensation plans:
All compensation plans have some pros and cons, and we all have our
favorites. Different personalities are attracted to different
plans. And depending on your personality type, some plans will be
impossible for YOU to be successful with. But that’s another
article. If you have an interest, just ask me for more information
on the “Four Colors to Success” or see GOLD NUGGET #6 below. With the RIGHT company and compensation plan you do NOT have to be a
"super-recruiter" to create lifelong financial security.
All you have to do is learn and apply a few simple secrets. Then just
teach one other person like you who is willing to do the same.
Repeat this simple process a few times and watch the magic begin!

The BOTTOM LINE with comp plans should always be,
"What kind of LONG TERM RESULTS will it produce for ME?" - not for the company.
Many comp plans are deliberately designed to produce good results
primarily for the company and a few "heavy hitters" at the top,
not for the "rank & file" distributors.
Answering THREE SIMPLE QUESTIONS below is the best way to simply
and accurately evaluate or compare ANY comp plan. Many companies
may do well in one area. But the important KEY is to:
Find a company that does well in ALL THREE AREAS!
* * MOST IMPORTANT - QUESTION #1: * *
How many customers does it take (in your ENTIRE organization) to make
“X” dollars/month - every month - whether you work or not?
We're talking about PASSIVE, RECURRING, ONGOING, RESIDUAL INCOME here
folks, not "trade your time directly for money" or "make a
quick one-time commission from a sale."
Understanding and applying this important principle is one of the “3 Millionaire Secrets”
that allows you to: spend more TIME with your loved ones, travel the world,
lay on a beach,
or do whatever is important to YOU.
You have to fill in the “X” dollar amount above that is important or
realistic FOR YOU. It could be only $500 or $1,000? But,
using $10,000 as an example, there are great companies where you can earn
$10,000/mo. with less than 400 people in your entire organization. There
are other (not so great companies) where you need 1000 - 2000 - 5000 or more!
Using COMMON SENSE, if you understood this and
everything else was equal, which would YOU choose?
Can you see how there could be a HUGE difference in the EFFORT or TIME it
may require for YOU and other members
of your TEAM to reach a given dollar amount of income?
Or why it might be IMPOSSIBLE with some companies?
But very few distributors have ever stopped to calculate
this important number. Worse yet, even when it's pointed out to you,
many of you will foolishly CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT. :-(
I know of people who have created streams of ongoing
passive recurring income of $5,000 - $10,000 per week - in less than
two years! Most of us are delighted with monthly incomes in that range.
But it illustrates what is POSSIBLE if you want it - and APPLY
the information contained here to CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMPANY!
With the RIGHT company and TEAM the beauty is:
You are not limited by any artificial or "glass" ceilings -
and others will work to HELP YOU achieve whatever level of success you desire!
QUESTION #2: What percentage do you make on your own
personal customer purchases?
Customers are the lifeblood of any legitimate business! Many
shortsighted or “pseudo” network marketing companies and distributors
ignore this crucial UNIVERSAL TRUTH and focus only on recruiting more
distributors. That business model will eventually "crash & burn"
every time!
With the RIGHT company and compensation plan, some people who aren’t
interested in building a large organization, or aren't good at it, can
still make a decent income just gathering customers. But the
company has to reward everyone fairly and offer incentives for customer
acquisition.
Eliminating the unethical and usually illegal “money games” from this
comparison, the best compensation plans with legitimate companies pay as
much as 20-40% commissions on individual customer purchases - and still
offer great value to their customers. Others may pay LESS than 10 -
20%, and do not offer any better value to the customer.
If you’re wondering how this is possible, I’d be happy to explain

Some "direct sales" companies that pay more than 40% on customer purchases
may not have enough profit left over to take FULL advantage of LEVERAGE to pay
on deeper levels and fairly reward those who build large organizations.
This makes it harder to attract the so-called "heavy hitters" and much harder
or impossible to reach some of the upper levels of income.
It depends a lot on what you want or are satisfied with. But why drive a rusty
old Yugo when for similar or less effort you could be riding in a brand new Rolls Royce?
Can you see how a difference in just this one area can have a HUGE
IMPACT on YOUR profit potential? But again, few distributors factor
these elements into their decision making process BEFORE they join a company.
And after they make an EMOTIONAL decision to join, most people are unable
or unwilling to objectively look at the facts.
QUESTION 3: Will you be paid on the TOTAL VOLUME in your
entire organization?
In other words, if you added up all the products purchased by the people
you introduced, and the people they introduced, and the people they
introduced, ad infinitum, would YOU be paid a reasonable percentage on
that TOTAL VOLUME?
Or does much of the volume you are ultimately responsible for and should get
paid on, end up outside your “pay leg” or in someone else's pocket?
Most people who read this last question will ignore it. Smart people will
pay attention. Many companies and compensation plans are guilty. But at
the risk of stepping out on a limb, telling the TRUTH, not being "politically proper,"
and offending some people who don't want to hear the TRUTH, BINARY PLANS
are typically one of the worst in this regard.
Of course, every company has a “sales pitch” explaining why their comp plan
is so great. Common sense and answering the 3 questions above will
"separate the wheat from the chaff."
The numbers above are easy to calculate once you’ve started
building in a company. But they’re not always easy to get
beforehand. Many distributors have no clue how important this
simple information is and may have never given it much thought.
Others may not be anxious to share the truth, and some may selectively
skew their numbers to help “get you in their deal.”
Can you see how knowing this information before you “marry” a company,
could have a HUGE impact on YOUR personal profit potential and your
happiness in that “marriage?”
Unfortunately, most distributors make EMOTIONAL decisions to get involved
with a company based on many of the WRONG REASONS, not objective analysis of
ALL important facts. And once a decision has been made, it's "human behavior"
to find ways to "rationalize" that choice rather than objectively consider the possibility
we may have made an uneducated decision or poor choice.
If you’re an elephant it’s easier to accept peanuts and fairy tales from
your trainers than to risk stepping out of your comfort zone to see what’s
outside your cage.
But if you're not an elephant, DON'T WORK FOR PEANUTS!
There are several critical factors that go into making good business
decisions. Great products are important, but they’re not the only
things. The fact that your best friend or a family member is involved, or that the
company plays up some celebrity endorsement, rarely has anything to do with
making the best choice about YOUR future financial security.
Do your best to answer ALL THREE questions above before you join ANY
company. If you are in a company already, run ALL the NUMBERS
ABOVE for yourself. It may be GOOD NEWS or it may be BAD?
But, you need to know the TRUTH.
GOOD potential associates and business partners (who are smart) will be asking those hard questions.
And your HONEST answers WILL impact
your business, and your level of LONG TERM success.
Gold Nugget #6:
Understand the Importance of a
“Streamlined” Business Model
This GOLD NUGGET could be the most important of them all!
Business Models and Compensation Plans Drive BEHAVIOR - and BEHAVIOR
Determines Your Level of Success.
What do I mean by that?
Successful business models encourage the behavior of customer
acquisition and repeat customer purchases. Repeat customer
purchases happen because they are receiving GOOD VALUE for their
dollar. Happy customers tell others, which creates
exponential growth. Eventually you have customers you have
never even met or talked to ordering products directly from your website.
Truly GREAT companies and compensation plans reward
distributors BOTH for finding customers AND for finding other business
partners.
Did I make my point about how IMPORTANT customers are to EVERY business?
Unfortunately many pseudo-network marketing companies (less politely referred
to as "Pyramid Schemes" and "Scams") ignore customers and focus primarily or only
on selling over-priced items of questionable value and recruiting other distributors. There are many reasons for this "recruit - recruit - recruit" philosophy, most of
which are tied directly to the business model or compensation plan the company chooses.
I've recently run across a website that posts an alphabetical list of
many current and former "Pyramid Schemes" and "Scams." It's GOOD INFORMATION
to know and I'll be happy to provide it if you contact me directly and ask for it.

Depending on which one of four major personality types you fall into,
some compensation plans may be impossible for YOU to succeed with. As
unique and different as we all are, we ALL fall into ONE of only four
PRIMARY personality "types." That can have a HUGE impact on which
business model or compensation plan is best for YOU, and it's very easy
to figure out.
But few distributors are even aware of that simple truth.
And fewer less factor it in when they are trying to figure out
which company to choose, or why they aren't having the success
they dreamed of after they get involved.

Back to Business Models & BEHAVIOR...
We’ve recently studied two different MLM companies actively in business
today that offer a product as close to “identical” as you’ll ever
find. The product is a comprehensive, combination, all-natural
nutritional supplement and
is a very good product.
We chose two companies in the health and wellness industry because
that segment fits the MLM business model so well, is by far the largest
portion of the industry, has a proven track record, and appears to have
the best long-term potential.
But, before I try to illustrate my point, let me ask you a question.
Would you agree with this statement?
If everything is identical for ANY product - ingredients, production
and manufacturing process, etc. - the actual "cost of production"
should be close - if not within pennies.
In the two companies referenced above, “Company A” charges a little over
$100 retail for their product. “Company B” sells the
identical product for just $39.95.
Actually Company B's product is even a little better! They ADDED a special digestive
enzyme to make an already great product even more effective.
Your initial reaction to the cost difference might be like mine was,
“That’s impossible!”
But it’s true. And on top of that, Company B pays
MUCH BETTER commissions to its independent distributors!
How is that possible? I'll share that simple truth with you below.
Oops! To be fair, I forgot to tell you that Company A gives anyone who wants it a
much better offer. If you become an “independent distributor” you
can buy the product “wholesale” for $79.95. What a deal! But
it’s still double the cost of Company B’s “retail” price - for the same
product.
This BUSINESS MODEL drives the BEHAVIOR of "recruit, recruit, recruit,"
because nobody wants to pay "retail." You "force" a lot of people
to become "distributors" who have no interest in building a BUSINESS.
And nobody wants to sell to their family and loved ones for "retail."
Selling your products "wholesale" to all your friends and family because
the "retail" prices are too high, further cuts into your profit potential.
If you understand how important customers are, which of the business models
above do you think it might be easier to find customers for?
Let's see?... $39.95 or... $79.95 - $100 plus, for the same product.
Even without an advanced degree in mathematics it's not too hard
to figure out which choice most sane people would make.
If your products are good and FAIRLY PRICED,
CUSTOMERS are much easier to find than
GOOD business partners or distributors.
I can already hear the defensive reaction from many MLM
distributors about their overpriced products. “But our products are special!” - followed by a
lengthy justification - sometimes true, sometimes false - of why their
products cost more than others.
If your product truly is unique and effective, you can command a higher price.
But CUSTOMERS always have to get or perceive VALUE. If they can get
something comparable for less, or if they don’t see or feel noticeable benefits, they
won’t be your customers for long.
So what’s the difference in the true scenario outlined above?
The simple answer - which 99% of new distributors never even stop to consider
before jumping into a network marketing business or “marrying” a company
- is this:
Excessive corporate OVERHEAD expenses can cause products to be
over-priced, cut into YOUR commissions, and ultimately destroy your
business and take away your dream of lifelong, passive, recurring, residual,
income.
Unfortunately for those types of companies and anyone who gets involved
with them - short-term corporate profits and excessive overhead costs
made at the expense of customers and distributors - is a business model
that will eventually fail every time.
Let me throw out a few purely hypothetical possibilities for you to
consider objectively. Then you decide which BUSINESS MODEL makes
more sense to you for the LONG HAUL.
The leaders of “company A” have an impressive corporate background.
They surround themselves with high-salaried executives with familiar
greedy mindsets: “How can we get this business to pay US the
most money?”
They start with a comp plan that may look good on paper, but they know in
reality only a few distributors will really profit from it. They
recruit a few “heavy hitters” and offer “special deals” or positions at
the top to be able to eventually show how much money a few people can
make. (Binary pay plans come to mind instantly!) Sorry if that steps on your toes. :-(
They may spend millions purchasing property and erecting a huge fancy new
building in the “high rent district” just to show off how good they
are. Of course they hire enough employees to fill that building,
and of course they have to purchase all the necessary new computers and
office equipment that is required.
When it comes to taking full advantage of technology and the Internet
(which can dramatically reduce unnecessary overhead costs) they may say,
“We’ll never have a major presence on the Internet because…
this is a belly-to-belly business,” - or - “there’s pornography on the
Internet,” - or any other foolish, narrow-minded, or short-sighted excuse
you can think of.
What about employee benefits? Besides great salaries of course
there is health insurance, retirement plans, paid vacations, social
security taxes, etc. etc. And don’t forget about the ONGOING
MAINTENANCE - taxes, upkeep, insurance, heating, cooling, etc. - on that
fancy building.
Add it all up and the ongoing OVERHEAD costs
can add up to MILLIONS of dollars a month!
Where does all this money come from? Initially it may get
started from a public stock offering. After all, whose money
would YOU rather spend, yours or someone else’s?
Eventually the huge ONGOING OVERHEAD COSTS get paid by customers (through
overpriced products), and by distributors (through skimpy
commissions). It’s got to come from somewhere. You can’t expect
those high level executives to give up their “lifestyles of the rich and
famous” - their fancy office buildings, company owned vehicles, or
corporate Leer jets.
You'll also see these companies start to change their compensation
plans, always taking money away from their distributors. There
are 10 year old companies out there today who already have 6 or more
comp plan changes on the books.
Hello! Can you read the writing on that wall?
But their loyal network of distributors just fall in line like a flock
of sheep waiting to be sheered and say, "B-a-h-h."
Now let’s take another "purely hypothetical" look at “company B.” It
was put together by honest, ethical leaders who started part-time in the
network marketing industry years ago, like most people still do
today. They shed blood, sweat, and tears to become
multi-millionaires in the industry, and have since gone on to be
successful leaders in other businesses. Because they built their
personal fortunes from scratch, they appreciate all the trials and
tribulations everyday people go through on their personal pathways to
success.
They want to give back to an industry that has provided them so much, and
still has enormous unrealized potential. So they put together a
unique and VISIONARY forward thinking business model that is
“streamlined.”
Start out with products of exceptional QUALITY and EFFECTIVENESS.
Take advantage of technology and the Internet by automating things
as much as possible, with a goal to have 95-98% of orders processed
instantly and automatically over the Internet.
If that can be accomplished, only a skeleton crew of highly experienced and talented
customer service reps will be necessary, saving huge amounts of unnecessary OVERHEAD
that can be passed on to customers and distributors.
Advances in technology also allow commissions to be calculated automatically
and paid WEEKLY instead of monthly so distributors see more immediate rewards for their efforts.
No need for fancy office buildings or excessive corporate salaries.
A warehouse facility in the “low-rent district” near the airport saves
more money and also makes it convenient and efficient to ship products
all over the world.
Develop a unique and ingenious compensation plan that pays BOTH part-time
and full-time distributors well, and gives them bonuses and readily
attainable incentives to reach high levels in the pay plan - with
one-half to one-third the number of people in their organization as
most competitors require to earn the same income.
Always treat distributors and customers fairly. When your privately
owned company starts to turn a profit, instead of sharing profits with
stockholders, SHARE them with customers and distributors - the people
primarily responsible for your success.
This WIN-WIN philosophy that recognizes successful businesses of the
future are built on mutually beneficial PARTNERSHIPS, allows MILLIONS
of dollars that are sometimes wasted in unnecessary OVERHEAD to be shared
with customers in the form of value-priced products, and with
distributors in the form of more generous and attainable
commissions.
Does that make simple COMMON SENSE or what? It doesn’t take a
rocket scientist to figure that out.
According to published reports, at least one recognized giant in the industry now recognizes
the "error of their old ways," plans massive layoffs, and plans to spend HUNDREDS
OF MILLIONS of dollars in the next year or two, just to try to get their ship
turned around. But many other GREEDY companies and owners are plowing full speed ahead like the Titanic, a tragedy just waiting to happen.
If you’re serious about long term or lifelong success in the home
business or network marketing industries, understand the BIG PICTURE!
Business models and compensation plans drive BEHAVIOR and RESULTS. Don’t book your
passage to the New World on a ship that is destined to go down or that
has a greedy crew that may throw you overboard.
With a little research and COMMON SENSE, there are exceptional
opportunities to be found.
Evolution and change are inevitable. You can ignore them and
perish, or embrace them and profit.
Many network marketing companies are stuck in the old “top-heavy” corporate
business model of too many employees, too much overhead, and lavish
salaries paid to executives who drive fancy vehicles, ride in their
corporate Leer jets, and work in multi-million dollar buildings erected
to pay tribute to their large egos.
Eventually those shortsighted methods of operation will come back to
haunt anyone who didn’t have the VISION to gaze into my “Crystal Ball”
and recognize the New World we live in.
COMMON SENSE and some simple VISIONARY THINKING can give you and your
favorite company an almost unfair advantage for lifelong success.
If you understand and use the “6 Gold Nuggets” I’ve shared above, you can
have a wonderful life most people only dream of. And with the RIGHT company
you can do it in a reasonably short time, even with only part-time effort!
