Below is a description of the Confirmation classes.  As you can see, several learning activities that occur cannot be duplicated. They include: prayer/blessing at Mass, small group discussion, witness talks.  You should make every effort to attend the scheduled sessions.  If for some serious reason, you are unable to attend, you may make up the session by writing a one-page reflection using the supplemental material, and the discussion questions.  (Please note well that the retreat is required, there is no way to replace it, except by attending another retreat.)

The Sunday evening format will be: 
Short prayer – connected to liturgical action at 6:30 PM Mass.  (5 min.)
Witness talk – connecting the theme for the evening to a personal story.  (10 min.)
(possible) Religion Talk – to explain a Church teaching on the theme.  (5 min.)
Small group discussion – specific questions and discussion regarding the theme.  (35 min.)
Large group summary.  (10 min.)
