Gardner Dam Scout Camp is always seeking Scouts, Explorers, and/or Crew members to serve as staff members. Gardner Dam Scout Camp is a great place to work, especially for those who want something more out of a "summer job" than a paycheck. Service on the staff of GDC is challenging and rewarding. If you are an outstanding person who wants to contribute to the growth of Scouts, Venturers, and Leaders from all parts of the Midwest, then contact the Bay-Lakes Council for further information. There might be a position for you.

Drew Hegner Memorial Staff Scholarships

Staff members who are deserving of special recognition because they "unselfishly have shared their experience, time and skills to make the summer a positive experience for the scouts, scouters, and staff members with whom they've worked" will receive an award. In short, they've shared, by personal example, the Spirit of Gardner Dam Camp and scouting.

Thanks to the generous donations of alumni, scouters, and current staff members the program will continue for the summer of 2006.
