The components required to assemble your Axman GuiTOY are listed below. The plans assume that you possess some of these items, and thus were not included in the system costs. Part numbers (when given) are 1995 Radio Shack® catalog part numbers. Use these numbers to purchase parts from Radio Shack® or as an aid in description when obtaining equivalent parts from another source.

Begin by installing a fresh battery (item 6) in the amplifier (item 4).
Affix the belt clip (item 8) to the amplifier (item 4). Keep battery replacement in mind when choosing the belt clip mounting location.
Using a 1/4" to 1/4" cord (item 2) connect your guitar (item 1) to the 1/4" to 1/8" adapter (item 3).
Plug this assembly (items 1,2,3) into the INPUT jack of the amplifier (item 4).
Plug the headphones (item 7) into the 1/8" stereo to mono adapter (item 5).
Plug this assembly (items 5,7) into the EXT SPKR (output) jack of the amplifier (item 4).
Clip the amp to your waist, strap on your guitar, put on the headphones and prepare to jam.
Turn on the amp by rotating the volume control, start with a low setting on the volume level.
Strum/pick strings to adjust levels as desired for usage. Play, practice, shred your eardrums! etc.
Turn amp off when finished using. (Remove battery for extended periods of non-use or storage)
