Born in Independence,
Missouri, Bonnie Turner now resides in De Pere,
Wisconsin, where she is still actively writing.
She has published middle-grade fiction,
nonfiction, young-adult fiction, and adult
historical fiction, and has visited local grade
schools to lecture on the importance of reading
and writing. She still speaks fluent hillbilly
and recently became a great-grandmother.
